The Jaycees are a community service and social organization. We make a difference in our member's lives and in our communities through community service and camaraderie.

Created in 1920, the Jaycees give you men and women an organization of our own. Rotary, Kiwanis, Lions and other clubs are wonderful groups but they are generally much older. The Jaycees are strictly for the younger crowd and we do the project and social events that fit our generation and style. Ideas for projects and social activities come from the local members deciding what is best for their community and desires.

When you join a local chapter of the Jaycees, you become part of a much larger community of you men and women. you are part of the Wyoming Jaycees, United States Junior Chamber International - in over 86 different countries! You choose how active you want to be - at any level of the organization. Participation in the Jaycees guarantees that you will feel great about making a difference and meet many new friends.

Purpose of the Wyoming Jaycees:

It shall be the purpose of this corporation to engage in such charitable and educational activities as will foster the growth and development of young persons throughout the State of Wyoming. It shall further be the purpose of this corporation to incite in individual members a spirit of genuine Americanism and civic interest and to provide them with the opportunity for personal development and achievement and for the intelligent participation by young persons in the affairs of their community, state and nation.

Mission:

To provide young people the opportunity to develop personal, professional,and leadership skills through local community service and organizational involvement while expanding the Jaycee movement to other communities.
